Virtual real estate platform Metaverse Group acquires Decentraland Music District, which includes 34 parcels

On April 14, Metaverse Group, a subsidiary of and virtual real estate platform, has acquired the music district of Decentraland in one of the largest virtual land acquisitions to date in 2022. According to reports, the music area consists of 34 plots, equivalent to 91,936 square feet in terms of physical area. The area is strategically located bordering Festival Land, Decentraland’s live music district, which features live performances by many famous artists. Andrew Kiguel, CEO of and executive chairman of the Metaverse Group, said the company plans to develop the land to host movie premieres, music launches and concerts. (BusinessWire)
